It is official...Snow is on the ground and Fall Ball is over! Plymouth State Women's Lacrosse wrapped up their 2011 Fall Ball season with a big win against Colby-Sawyer. This Fall season proved to be a very successful one! Colby-Sawyer came out swinging, but the Panthers proved too much for them. It was great to see the hard work our ladies put into practice, executed on the playing field. The upperclassmen were strong and confident as expected, and the freshman class proved a force to be reckoned with. With 10 minutes left in the game, an all-freshman line up was put on the field with senior Ally Baribault in goal. The freshman played like seasoned veterans, picking up the pace of the game quickly and easily. Freshman Carly Floyd had this to say about her Fall Ball experience, "I always knew that I was joining a team that was one of a kind, but when we were prepping for the Colby-Sawyer game it really hit me how special this team really is. Between meditation, the various leadership and confidence building exercises, and just simply the unlimited energy at practice, this team is incredible. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by such a great group of girls and an outstanding coaching staff." We are looking forward to pre-season and a Spring Break in TEXAS! The success of our Fall Ball season will surely carry over into our regular season. Watch out LEC competitors!!

last day....
So it's was our last day in Oregon today and an eventful one. We had a crazy game against Linfield - the officials were VERY different than ones on the east coast but we found our groove and pulled out our second straight win of the season. After the game we went out into Portland to the Crystal Ballroom restaurant with former PSU lax legend/hall of famer Katie "Noodles" Sheridan. We had a blast and really enjoyed the city. Now we are all packing up and getting ready for a super early morning at the airport and our return home to NH! We had such an amazing trip and our memories will last a lifetime. Thanks everyone for following our trip and hope you follow the rest of our season! GO PANTHERS! - Coach Blanchette
