Lorin Field receives another lax honor from Synapse Lacrosse!

DIVISION III - 

Defensive Player of the Week: Mary Waller, TCNJ

Waller had an outstanding week for the top-ranked Lions, making 16 saves in the showdown against No. 2 Salisbury
. She added three ground balls as the Sea Gulls were held scoreless for the opening 14 minutes of the game. In the win over Rowan, Waller and the rest of the Lions kept the Profs off the board for the final 45 minutes of the game.

Offensive Player of the Week: Sarah Bray, Hamilton
Bray led the Continentals to a 3-0 week that included a showdown with future NESCAC rival Middlebury in which she had a hand in 7 goals (4g, 3a) as Hamilton won 16-6. She added a pair of draw controls and three ground balls in the victory. On the week that included wins over RPI and Vassar, the junior notched seven goals, seven assists, seven ground balls, 10 draw controls and four caused turnovers in total. 

Rookie of the Week: Ashley Cook, Cortland
Cook totaled nine goals and four assists during a 3-0 week for the Red Dragons. She scored four times and picked up four ground balls in a 10-5 win at Brockport on Tuesday and recorded two goals and two assists in a 17-7 win versus William Smith on Thursday. She capped the week Saturday with three goals and two assists in a 13-8 win at Buffalo State.
