spring break!

This has been the best spring break I've ever had!!! Yesterday we saw amazing waterfalls, today we saw the most gorgeous japanese gardens, and won our first game of the season!!! Tomorrow we are going white water rafting and I'm so excited!
Oregon is beautiful too, the vegetation is so green and refreshing...

Talk about the best spring break ever....

FIRST WIN!!!!

What an amazing first win for the Panthers tonight. We had a rough first half but made an incredible comeback for the win. Freshman Emily Buckle scored 6 goals in her collegiate debut! Great job Emily! All in all a good solid team win for PSU. It was great to reconnect with our old PSU family Wynne Lobel and Katie Sheridan. The team heard some cool PSU lax stories and traditions from back in the day.

Heading to bed and ready for WHITE WATER RAFTING TOMORROW!!!! :)

Well I survived my first plane ride!!! Now gearing up to show Pacific University what East Coast Lax is all about!! Can't wait to finally get our season under way and what better place to do it! Oregon is beautiful and I can't wait to see what else coach has in store for us!!!

HERE WE GO STATE!!! Time to pull out a WIN :)

This morning we went to a Japanese Garden in Portland. It was beautiful and so peaceful. We also went into a Rose Garden which was beautiful as well (even though the roses weren't in bloom yet). We had a nice meditation session as a team and are ready and very excited for our game tonight! :)

Oregon is gorgeous!

Greetings from Room 311!

Today has been such great day! It was such a great feeling to finally be outside playing today. The Oregon air is so fresh! We are so ready to go- tomorrow we can finally rip up some turf. YEAH BUDDY! After practice we got to experience some of Oregon's most gorgeous waterfalls. We all have a gazillion photos- yet the photos don't give nature any justice. Although there were a few rain showers, the weather is great. A little mist won't hurt us.

AH TOMORROW'S GAME DAY! Some of us are still currently on east coast time; it is currently 9:30 here and we're ready to snuggle together after doing some lacrosse studying. Hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather that is approaching the east aaaaaaaand the west. WOOOOOOO!

Toodles til tomorrow,

Paige, Amanda, Nora, Mikey & Steph

first day!

After a nice productive pre-game practice at Pacific University's turf field, we took the team on their first surprise adventure to the Columbia River Gorge. It is home to the most amazing waterfall's and Oregon sight seeing. Wow - we saw some incredible parts of nature and took SO many pictures. It was definitely a once and a life time journey! We are having a blast and cannot wait for our first game of the 2011 season tomorrow vs. Pacific University! GO STATE! :)
